In Islamabad - Prime minister Imran Khan on Saturday called an
world leaders to launch the crack down on online hate and extremism after the
hate - fuelled attack in Canada which has shocked everyone.
The premier will speaking with Canadian broadcasting
corporation chief political correspondent Rosemary Barton, said the murder of a muslim family in Canada has shocked everyone in Pakistan.
When he saw the picture of family everyone was shocked in
Pakistan Adding that the recent pattern of domestic terror in west demanding a
heightened focus on online radicalization.
Corresponding to this query , the Khan said “ He had raised
the issue with his Canadian counterpart Justine Trudeau, describing him as a
leader who understood the importance of fighting online, and Khan called other
leader to make such commitment”.
PM khan has also said “ I think there should be strict action
against this”.
On June 6 the Pakistani
origin Canadian Muslim family lost members of three generations after it was
targeted in an Islamophobic attack.
A pick up ran over them in Canada Ortarian province while they
were waiting on the sidewalk to cross the road.
Meanwhile the Canadian premier also Trudeau also pledged to
crack him down on online hate speech, while he introduced a new digital charter in 2019, though critics
say Ottawa had been Slow to implement the changes that could stop online radicalization.
